VASER Liposuction the prompt advancement of surgical body contouring

VASER Liposuction in the UK is a widely used and appreciated therapeutic by both surgeons and patients, both men and women. The cutting-age technologies of VASER Liposuction involve conventional ultrasound assisted liposuction, by means to remove involuntary fat pouches from the abdomen, inner and outer thighs, upper arm, back, flanks and buttocks, covering almost all parts in a person’s body where fatty tissue can accumulate. Various areas can be treated under one surgery in one day, however, the amount of the fat removed is decided by the surgeon, all in all more than 5liters of fat is declared as excessive fat removal and most surgeons won’t go for that much fat removal from the patient.
VASER liposuction is almost the same as traditional liposuction to look at, and if you don’t know what is a liposuction then it simply means that liposuction is a cosmetic surgery to remove “stubborn” body fat. The surgery was introduced in the 1980s as Tumescent Liposuction that is now regarded as Traditional Liposuction, with a handful of surgeons practicing and believing its benefits.  In the 1990s the Ultrasound assisted liposuction (UAL) technology was introduced and VASER is a research center based in Colorado that has picked up to develop the UAL technology as the third generation liposuction to reach higher heights and recognition as one of the Liposuction technologies to date.
VASER have further introduced a number of technologies like VASER hi def liposuction that allow the much controversial “chest sculpting” as well as aid severe medical conditions such as Gynecomastia.
The procedure of VASER hi def can be pretty scary to look at in the videos widely available. The surgery takes place in a proper operation theater and or as a day case in the surgeon’s office, depending on the areas and size of the operation. The surgeon gives you a couple of injections which are usually local, and while you are awake you can’t really see what the surgeon is doing, but witness what is happening at the operation theater as you are laid down at the operation table.

The injection would be a solution of anaesthetics and adrenalin which will numb the target area for minimal or zero discomfort or pain and swell it thus preparing the area for the surgery. Once the target area is fully numb and tumescent, some incisions are made to the pre-marked target areas about 1cm to 2cm big and as deep as the subcutaneous level. Then hollow metal blunt tip cannula with side holes (similar to a straw) is slid into the incisions to the fatty layer under the skin. Where VASER Liposuction differs from traditional (tumescent) liposuction is the involvement of ultrasonic vibrations realized from the cannula which melts the body fat into a buttery liquid as the surgeon gently moves the cannula inside the patient’s skin without affecting the surrounding tissues, collagen and nerves of the target area. Once the subjected fat is completely melt down, then the liquefied fat is suctioned through the tube attached with the cannula with the use of an aspirator. This stage almost looks like a blood donation process. But the adrenaline mixed with the anaesthetic would have shrunk the blood vessels to result in minimizing the blood loss.
Post-surgery the incisions are sutured, and some surgeons choose to leave 1or2 punctures open in order to allow any excess fat to bleed out of the body. After the sutures you are heavily padded and gauzed and give full recovery from the surgery at least 2weeks and the final results at least 4months.
The information is based on communication provided by a group of experienced surgeons and patients. The study is done under topics: Vaser liposuction; Vaser hi def; vaser gynecomastia. For more info on VASER Gynecomastia, check out other articles by Amelia Aitken.
